Ah. Look at all of the beautiful bison! Custer State Park has a herd of 1,300 in the park, if I remember right, and when my parents and I were driving through we ran into a lot of them. I envy the days before the bison were hunted down- and as far as you could see, there they were.
I found this herd of cows yesterday. They were all back in the trees at first, but as I stood at the fence taking pictures of them, they all meandered over and looked at me expectantly. I had no idea what to do other than keep taking photos, so that is what I did. This part of the herd set themselves up so well that I had to get a photo of them, which is what I like about the photo.
