In the town of Custer, South Dakota, there are many old buildings. Behind one of them there are a lot of lilac bushes- and they are beautiful! It had just rained, so the sky was grey and water droplets on the bushes. It was beautiful.
This was also taken at Gunter Hall, from the stairs out the main front windows. I love the contrast between the window frame and the bright flowers outside. (Which I helped plant and weed before Independence Day. You’re welcome, UNC.)
I helped plant the flower beds in front of Gunter, even though that isn’t my usual job. The flowers are starting to really grow into the dirt and bloom. 🙂 So I decided to take a picture. I love the vibrant colors.
While outside taking pictures of my parents’ cherry trees’ blossoms, the bees were also hard at work. I snapped this picture and loved it.
I had to crop it a little bit to get closer to the bee, but that’s the only thing I changed. The lighting was perfect and is my favorite part.
